Very pleasant and friendly guesthouse with lovely breakfast
A truly lovely place - and the complimentary glass of Prosecco at check-in was a nice touch! Our room had been recently renovated, with an amazing bathroom! One of the nicest I've seen anywhere. The ladies on reception and breakfast were very pleasant. We had amazing porridge for breakfast, with beautiful views through the conservatory to the gardens. You will want to stay here!
We came here just by chance. This small, fine boutique B & B is located in the middle of the romantic village of Steyning in West Sussex on the edge of the Southdowns. Nevertheless still centrally located. Gatwick Airport can be reached in just 40 minutes. London not far. Brighton around the corner. Glyndebourne just under 40 minutes. And only 2 hours from Dover. What more do you want?The two owners Liz and Amanda gave us a warm welcome and showed us around. They explained they have taken over the house only one year ago and they have completely renovated the house. You feel it when you come in. Fantastically beautiful rooms lovingly designed down to the smallest detail. Unique! Here you can feel the love of detail. Even in the kitchen, where every morning an excellent breakfast is created. We enjoyed the afternoon with a gin tonic from the bar on one of the hidden Gin-Tonic terraces which are scattered everywhere in the beautiful garden and by the heated pool.All in all, we felt at home. only there we have to do the breakfast and the gardenworks ourselves . A great thanks to the Springwells Team. We will highly recommend you to our demanding friends.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel, visiting family locally, in December 2017. It was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms are well decked out, newly refurbished and super comfortable. Amanda and Liz were excellent hosts and the food was delicious - amazing sausages for breakfast! Thank you so much for having us. We will be back!
