We received a lovely welcome from our host Sue. The twin room was comfortable with all the usual amenities, including wifi, and we had the use of our own bathroom. Last but not least we enjoyed a really good breakfast. Its in a good location about a ten minute walk into the picturesque village of Steyning which has excellent pubs and restaurants. Its also an ideal base for hiking on the nearby South Downs Way.
Comfortable and impeccably clean B&B in a quiet residential street abut 10 minutes walk from the village centre. very good value for money at 70 for a twin en-suite room. Some lovely touches such as fresh milk in a vacuum flask for drinks in the room and fresh fruit at breakfast. Sue, the host offered us a cup of tea on arrival which was more than welcome after 6 hours walking on the Downs. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
If your planning to visit the south downs or the Brighton/Worthing area, and having spent a lot of time in b&b's and hotels, i can honestly say the foxgloves in Steyning is the best b&b I have stayed at.
