Having travelled from Byfleet in Surrey to the Fountain Inn pub in Ashurst village we were warmly greeted on our arrival. We found it to be lovely inside, with low beams and a blazing log fire which was wonderful. Along with a nice pint the food served was out of this world. The ambiance was very friendly and we were very impressed, & would not hesitate to go there again. Once again a big thank you from Rosemary, Ray & our dog Susie.
Nice old English pub with open fire and fine ales. A big eating destination too and the small bar area can get crowded at times. I didn't eat so can't speak of food quality or price.
Gorgeous old timber framed pub with a fantastic atmosphere inside. The food and staff were lovely as were the regular patrons
The genuine experience, worn stone floors, open fire, narrow corridors, low roof, lots of wood beams and because it is so dark and intimate they added a back to the future looking clock in the corner to light it up a little. Food was top notch, the ale was great, the glasses clean. This is the real deal and an experience worth going out of your way for. Make sure you have time to walk the local area for a few hours before you go in, having a cold nose and aching legs when you arrive makes the experience not far from heavenly.
Stunning country pub. Good food, good drinks and a beautiful out door area for summer. Inside it is very snug and cosy with roaring fires in winter.brilliant pub
