Loved it! The perfect stay for us over the weekend just gone. The campsite was nice and quiet and just what we were looking for for a short stay. The free kindling was a touch as we'd forgotten to get some on the way. Speaking to the owners on the Sunday morning as we packed the van away, we would have liked to have been closer to the river, but I'm sure we'll get on to that field the next time we visit.Off-grid and clean, with great views in the day and perfect star gazing at night.
We recently visited and stayed over in our campervan. A lovely campsite in a beautiful part of Steyning. Clean facilities, pizza can be ordered on a Friday evening and the owners are lovely and helpful. We will be back to visit for sure.
Paid upfront for two pizzas and when the person making the pizzas subsequently phoned in sick there was an email to inform us but absolutely zero offer of a refund. Cheeky to say the least.
If you are looking for a venue for a group camping event, you have found it. Just had a fantastic birthday camping weekend for a family member here, highly recommended.Other campsites get sniffy about having groups, insist you lay your tents out in marked boxes and stress about pointless guff like whether you dry your towel on a guy rope. These people are different. They understand. You go camping to chill away from the wifi, have a giggle with friends, reconnect with your children and have a beer around a fire as the sun goes down. They get that, and help you hit that mood.Call them well in advance, explain what you need, make sure you understand the pricing structure and they will tailor a package to suit you.
